The food was satisfying, although I was surprised by the "1 food, 1 drink" system; if not, you still have to pay for the table. There was no choice, so I had to buy a drink. However, they had already informed me about the system.

If you're going to eat inside, please be aware that you only have to order one drink.

Only 8000 yen course! ! ! I thought it was expensive at first, but when I saw the meat that came out, I was convinced, and after eating it, I was satisfied.

We got there relatively early (6pm) and there was no line. 

I went after 3pm on a Sunday, and was able to get in right away.

They have an English menu available, but can also translate in other languages if you are worried about that.

It’s a bit difficult to find the restaurant, note that it’s on the 5th floor.

It's on the 5th floor and the opening time is 5, but since we were waiting in front of the store at 4:30, they let us in about 10 minutes early haha. I visited during opening hours on a Saturday, and it was relatively quiet.

The food was really delicious here (they have vegan and halal options) and had a great atmosphere.

💡 Don’t skip on appetizers. The truffle chips, karaage chicken and potato salad were amazing. The plum choya was also great! The English menu has a cool explanation about izakaya culture in Japan.

Totally worth the long queuing time. Don't be fooled by the plain looking soup. It is very tasty! Combining it with the beautifully cooked udon, it is simply amazing!!!

Although it is an extremely popular restaurant that has been selected as one of Tabelog's 100 Famous Restaurants six times, it is a difficult restaurant as it is only open for lunch on weekdays.

I often have the ``Inaniwa Udon Shichikura Special Soup Tsukemen + Mini Bowl Set'' for lunch. Some people might hear the name "Mini-don" and think it's a bonus, but the sashimi and salmon roe on top are super fresh! The cost performance is too good.

I visited at 12:40 on a weekday, and was able to get in without waiting.

The combination of the refreshing udon, warm soup with green onions and nameko, and the seafood bowl was a perfect match.

The lunch bowl set is also a good deal.

I went there just before 2pm on a Sunday and there was a huge line.

It gets very crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so we recommend visiting late on weekdays or after lunch time.

 The udon was no wonder being selected as one of the 100 Famous Restaurants. We lined up for about 30 minutes and entered the store after 8pm.

They have vegetarian options! It’s definitely worth the price.

Would recommend the shrimp udon, spicy cucumber and meat soba.

Udon noodle was good but not uniquely special. However the soup, tempura squid and fried soybean skin was truly extraordinary. I have never ate a tempura squid that was so tender and so flavorful. Please add on the raw egg into the soup, it adds on level of flavors to this delicious broth.

Despite the current trend, this is a rare restaurant where you can enjoy Osaka-Style ``Udon'' in Tokyo.

The language barrier was an issue but google translate helped.

We had the signature "hiroshima okonomiyaki" (which he kindly made without pork to accommodate my vegetarian girlfriend)

It was only a 15 min wait on a weekend.

The spicy beef ramen is delicious. But the place is too small. Be mindful this place is cash only.

Serves only 3 types of ramen (with spicy and normal variations for each).

The menu is simple and they speak English and actually treat visitors with respect and no cover charge.

For those who prefer light taste, this ramen is for you! Very nice atmosphere and the place is quite big.

The halal ramen is exceptionally flavorful; the hot fried chicken ramen is highly recommended.

Came here for the halal kobe beef, food was spectacular and delicious!

Tried the Kobe sashimi platter and beef garlic rice, with a delicious Malbec for around 2500¥ - great value :)

Cannot recommend this place enough, super friendly welcome, the server spoke perfect English and was super knowledgable.

 If on a budget, try the Kobe beef sushi.

The sandwich is definitely a must try. After eating their meal, the Japanese people take a package of sandwiches and eat them at home when they get hungry at night or for breakfast in the morning (the chef suggested that we should not put them in the refrigerator and keep them in a packaged form in a warm environment).

The best filet I had in Tokyo by far. We ordered the salad as a starter and 100gr steak each. It was soft as butter, perfectly cooked to our request and delicious. Complementary ice-cream was offered by the very welcoming and friendly staff.

If you want to eat, you must make a reservation.

I ordered the popular signature, the thick-cut beef tongue is much more delicious, and the other dry one is a bit hard.

The food is exceptional. Special note to the salad, broccoli, fried potatoes in addition to the steak and hamburg steak. The bread seemed oaty and the amuse bouche pumpkin soup was great.

I've been there twice, there are fewer people on weekdays. It was a weekend this time. I went to queue at 4:30 in the morning. There were already more than 30 people in front of me. I was lucky enough to get the last slot.

The 5.500 yen set includes: 10 pairs of sashimi sushi, 4 pieces of seaweed sushi, one tamagoyaki, one miso soup, and a cup of Japanese green tea.

Everything easy. You order up to 4 courses on the tablet and then your order arrives on one of the two belts placed in front of you.

You order your sushi via a touchscreen, and it arrives quickly on a conveyor belt right to your table. The quality of the sushi was exceptional for the price – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

There was no one there when it opened for lunch on a weekday.

There are many seats, so you can get in right away even during lunch time.

There is a hot water dispenser, free green tea or water and classic sushi condiments like soy sauce and wasabi available without leaving your seat.

It’s really delicious and worth the wait. It’s currently a set meal of 6.600 yen.

Michelin Star Subway Sushi? Best bang for the buck sushi I’ve ever had.

It was also fun because they explained each story in English and performed in a way that would please people from overseas. All of the omakase courses offered delicious, fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the lineup was different from last time.

Overall I would recommend for lunch spot.

You will eat better quality food and higher standard Omakase at Toyuso market at 6600 yen/px for a 12-15 piece (Not just Sushi Dai (waking up at 4 am to line up))  but other restaurants as well! Maybe set lunch is better option at this restaurant.

Sunday afternoon and it was a 3 hour wait... fortunately you can wander around and come back...I wasn't sure i wanted to waitbutt I'm glad I did...

Reservations are highly recommended due to significant pre-opening queues; those without reservations must obtain a numbered ticket upon arrival.

The waiting line started at 11 o'clock on Saturday, so it took over 2 hours. Instead, I took a ticket and was able to check the waiting situation on my phone, so I waited while doing other sightseeing in Ginza.

My pro tip for this place is just to spam the Chutoro & Tuna+pickle Roll pieces. Get like 5 of each or something + some uni to really get bank for your buck.

Visited with an acquaintance who is a regular here. It was Saturday. I lined up around 12:30 for the second round starting at 1:00 p.m. At that point, there were already 5 people in line, and 8 people was the max, so it was barely safe.

It seems like you only have one chance to order, so only recommended topics that I have heard about in advance.

The sushi menu changes every day. As a stand-up establishment, it offers excellent cost-effectiveness, with no sushi priced over 1,100 yen.

It has two branches in Shimbashi and Tsukiji, and the Shimbashi branch is listed in the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand.

I'm left-handed and the English menu happens to be on my left. I just put the English menu from the left to the right to avoid accidentally smearing the menu. The general tapped it twice with his finger and asked me to put it back. Is there really no better way to communicate?
